Meet Miranda,
Your Trauma & Anxiety Therapist in Los Angeles, CA
Hi, I’m so glad you’re here.
I’m Miranda, and I’ve been where you are. I know what it’s like to feel stuck in your own head—overthinking conversations, replaying moments, questioning yourself, and doing everything you can just to keep it all together. Maybe you’ve found yourself wondering if it’s really "that bad," lying awake at night unable to quiet your mind, or putting on a smile while carrying so much beneath the surface. And through it all, wondering if other people are just handling life better than you are.
I’ve been there. I’m just as human as you are.
Having been a client in therapy myself, I understand what it’s like to sit in a room with a stranger and share your deepest, most vulnerable thoughts. I’ll be honest, it’s not always easy or comfortable. Sometimes it feels awkward, sometimes it’s emotional, and sometimes you leave thinking, “Wow… I really just said that out loud.”
And I get it. Truly.
My goal is to create a space where you don’t have to hold it all together alone, where even the hardest parts of being human can be spoken out loud and met with care, steadiness, and understanding.
I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist but arguably more important, I am a proud Ravenclaw and a Cancer through and through, which means I love learning, noticing patterns everywhere, and feeling a lot… like, a lot. All of that shows up in how I hold space in the therapy room—with curiosity, care, and a whole lot of heart. I would honored to be part of your healing journey.
My Values As Your Therapist
Your identity, background, and lived experiences matter. I strive to create an affirming space where every part of who you are is welcomed, respected, and considered throughout our work together. LGBTQIA+ individuals are always welcomed, affirmed, and celebrated here.
Cultural Humility
You don't have to have the "right" words or pretend you're okay here. I value showing up as real humans together, creating a space where you can be honest, imperfect, and fully yourself without fear of judgment.
Authenticity
Healing doesn't happen through self-criticism. I believe growth happens when we learn to meet ourselves with kindness, especially the parts of us that have been carrying pain, fear, or shame for far too long. You don't have to earn healing, you simply have to be willing to begin.
Compassion
You’re the expert on your life. I’m here to offer guidance, support, and clinical expertise, but I like to think of myself as a passenger enjoying the view while you’re in the driver’s seat—helping navigate, offering directions when needed, but ultimately trusting you to lead the way.
Collaboration
Healing starts with feeling emotionally safe. My goal is to offer a space where you can slow down, take off the mask, and know that your experiences, emotions, and story will be met with care, respect, and genuine acceptance.
Safety
Therapy isn't about fixing you—because you're not broken. It's about helping you reconnect with your strengths, trust yourself again, and feel confident navigating life's challenges long after therapy ends.
Empowerment
“A space for slowing down, softening, and coming home to yourself.”
Get to Know Me,
Your Trauma & Anxiety Therapist in Los Angeles, CA
Outside of the therapy room, you’ll probably find me reading fantasy books that emotionally destroy me (what can I say, I guess I like crying for fun), watching reality TV, or rewatching a Disney movie for the thousandth time like it’s brand new. You’ll also often find me on a walk or outside in my backyard. I believe most of life's best moments happen outside, where we can slow down, breathe a little deeper, and reconnect with ourselves.
I prioritize nurturing my inner child, which shows up in very serious clinical ways like rewatching That’s So Raven, revisiting Hilary Duff and JoJo eras, and occasionally remembering lyrics I didn’t realize were still stored in my brain from 2004. There’s something really grounding about reconnecting with the parts of us that felt simpler, softer, and more expressive.
And yes—if you haven’t guessed by now, I am a millennial. A very nostalgic, emotionally aware, slightly overstimulated millennial doing my best to romanticize life, one walk, throwback song and fantasy novel at a time.

Therapy With Me Is…
a space to show up as you are
noticing patterns like, “oh… we do that a lot, huh?”
getting curious about your inner world instead of fighting it
a place to emotionally spiral safely and make sense of it later
realizing your coping skills were… creative, but not always helpful
unlearning survival mode
trauma informed and attuned to how your past shows up in the present
Therapy With Me Is Not…
about “fixing” you
judgmental or pathologizing
a place where you have to have your life figured out (mine isn’t either, honestly)
me constantly asking, “and how does that make you feel?”
one-size-fits-all guidance
a hierarchy where you’re “the problem” and I’m the authority
about pushing you faster than your nervous system is ready for
You’ve already made it this far.
