Why Invest in Trauma & Anxiety Therapy in Los Angeles
Therapy isn't just an investment in an hour each week. It's an investment in every part of your life.
When anxiety, trauma, self doubt, or old patterns are running the show, they rarely stay in one area of your life. They can affect your relationships, your work, your confidence, your sleep, your health, and your ability to actually enjoy the life you've worked so hard to build.
It's easy to tell yourself, "I'll deal with it later." But later often turns into months or even years of carrying the same weight.
Therapy gives you something different.
It gives you a space to slow down, understand why you feel the way you do, and learn how to respond instead of simply survive. Over time, the work you do in therapy begins to ripple into your everyday life.

What If Healing Is Worth It?
The question isn't just "Can I afford therapy?"
It's also "What is it costing me to stay where I am?"
Maybe it's another year of overthinking every decision. Another year of feeling disconnected from yourself. Another year of people pleasing, burnout, or self doubt. You deserve the chance to experience something different.
Therapy won't erase every difficult day, but it can change how you experience them. Instead of feeling like you're constantly surviving, you can learn to move through life with more confidence, self compassion, and trust in yourself.
One conversation won't change your life overnight. But choosing to begin just might change the direction it's headed.
Future you deserves the chance to look back and be grateful that you started.

I am an out-of-network provider, which means I don't bill insurance directly. Payment is made at the time of your session, and if your insurance plan includes out-of-network benefits, you may be eligible for reimbursement.
I'm happy to provide a superbill that you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. Many clients with out-of-network benefits are reimbursed for 50–80% of their session fee, though coverage varies by plan.
-
I offer a limited number of sliding scale spots for those who may need additional financial flexibility. As an out-of-network provider, I am more than happy to provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement.

A superbill is a document you can submit to your insurance company to request possible reimbursement, depending on your plan’s out-of-network coverage. I will be more than happy to provide the superbill documentation needed on a monthly basis.

Care based on your needs
Your treatment is guided by what supports your goals, not by insurance requirements or session limits.Personalized treatment
Without insurance restrictions, I can tailor therapy to your unique needs and adjust our work together as your goals evolve.Greater privacy
Insurance companies often require a mental health diagnosis and may request treatment information to determine coverage. As an out-of-network provider, your personal information and therapy records remain more private.Freedom and flexibility
You have greater choice in your care, including how often we meet and how long you remain in therapy. Together, we'll determine a treatment plan that feels right for you. -
I understand that life happens and unexpected situations arise. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, I kindly ask that you provide at least 24 hours’ notice.
Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours' notice, as well as missed appointments, will be charged the full session fee unless otherwise discussed. Thank you for understanding and respecting this policy, which helps me provide consistent care to all of my clients.
What To Expect
-
The first session is all about creating a foundation. We'll spend time getting to know one another, exploring what led you to therapy, and talking about your goals. I'll also ask questions about your background, relationships, and any experiences that have shaped you so I can better understand the bigger picture, but there's no expectation that you have to tell your whole life story or dive into trauma right away. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, supported, and with a clearer idea of what therapy with me will look like.
-
No two sessions are exactly the same because therapy is tailored to you. Some days we'll process what's happened during your week, while other days we'll explore deeper patterns, emotions, and experiences that may be influencing how you feel today. Think of therapy as a conversation with intention.
Together, we'll identify what's keeping you stuck, develop practical coping strategies, and build insight that leads to lasting change. Some sessions may feel emotional, others may be filled with laughter, and many are a mix of both. Therapy isn't about having all the answers, it's about discovering them together.
-
Not at this time. I offer virtual therapy only for adults located anywhere in California. Online therapy provides the same compassionate, evidence based care as in person sessions while giving you the flexibility to attend from the comfort of your own space. Many clients find it easier to open up when they're in an environment that already feels safe and familiar.
-
Most clients begin with weekly sessions to build consistency and create momentum in the therapy process. As you make progress and start feeling more grounded, we may transition to biweekly sessions if it feels like the right fit. We'll regularly check in about what's working and decide together on a schedule that best supports your goals.
-
The honest answer is: it depends. Every person, story, and goal is different. Some clients come to therapy for support through a specific life transition, while others are looking to heal long standing patterns related to anxiety, trauma, or self esteem.
We'll regularly check in on your progress and adjust our work as needed. My goal isn't to keep you in therapy forever; it's to help you feel confident using what you've learned outside of our sessions. We'll move at a pace that feels right for you, and together we'll decide when you're ready to reduce the frequency of sessions or wrap up therapy.
-
Therapy can bring up difficult emotions at times, especially when processing painful experiences. But you won't be expected to dive into anything before you're ready. We'll move at a pace that feels safe, and I'll help you build the tools to navigate whatever comes up.
-
Therapy should fit into your life, not add more stress to it. Telehealth allows you to attend sessions from the comfort and privacy of your own space, whether that's your home, office, or another quiet location in California. All you need is a secure internet connection and a private space where you can feel comfortable showing up as yourself. And honestly, no judgment here if that space happens to be your bed in pajamas at 3pm on a Tuesday. Comfort first, always!
-
Yes. I use a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform designed to protect your privacy. I also encourage you to find a private space where you feel comfortable speaking freely so you can get the most out of each session.
-
Yes! Research has shown that virtual therapy can be just as effective as in person therapy for many concerns, including anxiety, trauma, and eating disorders. Many clients also appreciate the added convenience, comfort, and flexibility that telehealth provides.
Telehealth Therapy FAQ
-
No. I provide virtual therapy to adults located anywhere in California. As long as you're physically in California at the time of your session, we can meet virtually.
-
Choose a quiet, private space where you feel comfortable speaking openly. For many people, that's home, but it could also be a private office or another confidential location. And honestly, if your favorite spot happens to be your bed in comfy clothes, that's perfectly okay too.
-
Technology happens! If we lose connection, I'll reconnect as quickly as possible. We'll also have a backup plan in place, such as continuing the session by phone if needed.
